pronounced as 'Jah-yah'

A Product Designer with 5+ years of experience creating intuitive solutions for B2C industries like Healthcare, Retail, Fashion, and Education. I specialize in crafting AI-powered, user-centric digital experiences that solve real-world problems, enhance usability, and drive measurable results. Passionate about impactful design, I blend user research, design thinking, and strategic storytelling to engage users and align with business goals.


My journey began in the retail and apparel industry, where I honed my skills in design and branding. But as I worked on creating impactful customer experiences, I found myself more drawn to the question,

 

"How can we make this better for the user?"

This curiosity naturally evolved into a passion for User Experience design, where I could combine my creativity with strategic thinking to craft meaningful digital experiences. To formalize this shift, I pursued a Master’s Degree with specialization in User Experience Design, Design Strategy and Branding from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Mumbai, India.

I immersed myself in design thinking, user research, and prototyping, refining my ability to build intuitive solutions. Looking back, my passion for design has always been driven by a desire to explore, innovate, and create something that resonates with people.

As a designer, I constantly ask, test, and iterate. I welcome constructive feedback — it sharpens my thinking and helps me grow. I'm not afraid to revisit or pivot ideas if it leads to a better experience.

    • Spearheaded the development and deployment of Business Profiles and Onboarding features by applying user research and A/B testing techniques, resulting in a 25% increase in business discovery rates and generating over 3,600 impressions during the initial rollout phase.

    • Engineered a comprehensive, modular Design System with tokenization principles to ensure UI consistency and WCAG accessibility standards across all mobile platforms, contributing to a 48.4% conversion rate for users.

    • Collaborated closely with machine learning engineers to embed AI-powered recommendation engines into the user interface, leading to over 800 app downloads within the first month post-launch.

    • Led and mentored a team of 4 designers, including onboarding new members, while driving cross-functional alignment with Development, Machine Learning, Research, and Branding teams.

    • Designed and developed Appointment Booking, Progress Tracking and Prescribed Exercise features by through rigorous A/B testing and iterative feedback collection and creating comprehensive wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes, resulting in a 25% increase in therapist booking success rates.

    • Collaborated closely with product managers and developers within an Agile framework to ensure design feasibility and alignment with strategic roadmaps,

      contributing to a 15% improvement in user engagement metrics across platform.

    • Improved the in-app messaging feature and reduced user confusion by 20% through identification of critical user pain points and execution of data-driven design enhancements.
